Tender Spirits Childcare offers an integrated Toddler and Preschool-Like program. Children will learn through circle time, guided play, free play, arts crafts, songs, rhymes, music, dance and many other activities. In addition I strive to teach all the children socialization skills, such as sharing, caring, manners and compassion. I treat every child as part of my family and build a lasting relationship with them.
Tender Spirits Childcare is Licensed as a Family Daycare Facility. This means that I am licensed to provided childcare out of my family home and that I have met or exceeded all health and safety guidelines.
At Tender Spirits Childcare the ratio of children to adults is 7:1 and is always within licensing guidelines – even lower, from time to time, to make certain each child receives top-quality care.
At Tender Spirits Childcare, your child will participate in age appropriate activities throughout the day, such as:
- Educational Theme Activities
- Arts and Craft Projects
- Music Appreciation and Creative Movement
- Puzzles, Games and Co-operative Play
- Simple Science and Cooking

- Building Blocks and Manipulative Toys
- Dramatic Play (House Keeping, Dress-up etc.)

- Learning Circle (Calendar, Weather, Colours, Numbers, Shapes, etc.)
- Circle Fun (Story, Rhymes, Finger Plays, Felt Board, Songs etc.)
- Free play, Indoor play and Outdoor play
- Clean-up
